(Saskboy writes:) Thanks go out to my fellow CBA Operators, our many volunteers, and many thousands of our participants. I had a great time bringing you the 2007 Canadian Blog Awards, and look forward to witnessing another Canadian Blogosphere event like this one, to celebrate blogging in 2008. Good night!

  1. Gabriel says:

Congratulations to the winners, and also to the rest of the participants.

But a very special recognition to the entire CBA crew, for a job well done. Did I say ‘well’? An EXCELLENT job!

Keep up the good work guys! This has been a lot of fun; I got to know many blogs that were incredibly interesting. What a treat.

  2. Scott Tribe says:

Well said Gabriel. Kudos to the CBA organizers for doing this under occasionally trying circumstances. The vote totals increasing after Round 1 shows there are a lot more then political blogs out there, and they draw more traffic.

  3. […] Yarn Harlot won Best Blog at the Canadian Blog Awards for 2007! […]

  4. zoom says:

Congratulations to everybody and hats off to the organizers!

Rock on, Yarn Harlot! At this rate, pretty soon they’ll be calling it in the Interknit.

  5. Andrew says:

Excellent. Thank you very much for all your hard work, it was a lot of fun!

  6. Stephanie says:

Well how about that. Thanks guys. This has been awesome.

  7. grolsch-fan says:

    Good choice people.

  8. Laura says:

I can’t help but fell that “Mike’s Bloggity Blog Blob” was a bit of an oversight as third. Mike’s “best blog” about “the feminist movement” was incredibly sexist and the blog itself is just plain poor. SOrry to be the only critical person commenting. Perhaps if you had some sort of explanation that went along with the awards (maybe listing what it was that merited the award) I would feel less confused.

    Thank you.

  9. saskboy says:

    Hi Laura,
“As selected by Canadian Blog Award voters, here are the rankings,” was the explanation in the second line of the post. Mike had more voters than all but two other blogs in the competition.

It’s not an endorsement of the content of the blog by the CBA Operators, and rankings by popular vote isn’t the perfect method to gauge blog quality, but if you can suggest another method we’re open to new ideas. As with all things on blogs, your mileage may vary (AKA you can’t please everyone).

Our goal is to exceed these requirements and provide a benchmark service to the a
    posteriori sector.
It is widely recognized that frequent calibration making use of
gas mixtures is the best means of ensuring your analysis or maybe detection system is free from float and performs to the authentic manufacturer’s specifications.
But tuned gases are typically subject to expanded lead times,

    research project?

We take a new view to the supply of calibration gas – one that provides you with the right option for your requirements saved by the best support and

It begins with the package options; traditional

are ideal for on-site work to the large 50 litre cylinders that offers ample gas capacity for
intelligent calibration protocols. In addition to this, calibration gases are available

cylinder alternatives, providing smaller quantities associated with gas without the ongoing expense of rental arrangements for irregular research demands or feature
checking of portable natural gas detectors.
