We were sitting around the CBA virtual office last night, trying to figure out creative ideas for intro videos for the winning blogs, when we realized that this may be something that people would like to help out with.
We need your help! We are looking for creative videos to introduce the winning blog in each category. The only rule is that you roughly follow the script, which is “Hello, my name is ___ from [your website, or profession] … and the winner for best _____ blog is…” Do it yourself, or get a group together… or invite your celebrity friend of a friend to help out!
Since we do not yet know the winners, you will not be announcing them. Your video will simply introduce the winner when the big day comes.

Go ahead. Pick a category, make a few versions of your video, and send it to us with “Intro Video” in the subject.
Here is the list of categories that are already spoken for, which I will update regularly as we select videos.

I loved the videos from last year, but thought it was a little anti-climatic to not have the announcer actually say the name of the winner.
Once round two starts, would it be feasible to ask the announcers to simply say the names of all 5 candidates and then, come announcement day, just use the appropriate one?

Post production is really what limits that way of doing it Mark. I’d need a part time video developer for about 5 days.

Blue Menu, you can superimpose blurry boxes over your heads, or a black dot over identifying features. Be creative!
